::::|| VU ||:::: Inviting Indians to The Muslim Times (www.TheMuslimTimes.Org)

*~In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful*~

Dear Reader,
May Peace, Mercy and Blessings of God be upon you.

This is NOT spam only a ONE TIME invite: Please visit www.TheMuslimTimes.Org

Inviting Indian Readers to the Muslim Times

This is a one time invitation to the Muslim Times and not spam or junk mail.

Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century.  In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the white domed marble mausoleum is the most familiar component of the Taj Mahal, it is actually an integrated complex of structures. The construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen.[6]

Islam and the Muslims were part of India of the past, they form 20% of the present population and will be a part of the bright future of India.

Taj Mahal is now one of the seven new wonders of the world.  New 7 Wonders of the World (2001-2007) was an initiative started in 2001 to choose Wonders of the World from a selection of 200 existing monuments. The popularity poll was led by Canadian-Swiss Bernard Weber[1] and organized by the New7Wonders Foundation based in Zurich, Switzerland, with winners announced on July 7, 2007 in Lisbon.[2]

Thanks to our technology, our planet has been reduced to a global village and the dictum that all politics are local is true no more.  What happens in one part of the world invariably affects the other.

Humanity now needs to imbibe information which cultivates universal brotherhood and sisterhood to coexist and live in harmony and peace.

New information, being generated, is growing by a geometric scale.  The social media website Twitter, for example, which has become a social network of significant importance, generates more than one billion tweets every 2-3 days.

Someone got to digest this material for you.

The Muslim Times could be your source to collect and collate this information for you and present it to you.

The Great Mahatma Gandhi

But for the Muslim Times most readers will not know that speaking on the character of Muhammad, may peace be on him, the Great Mahatma Gandhi said in Young India:

I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind. … I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life.

But, for the Muslim Times, most will not know that a Qatar based Hindu businessman is building a mosque in Kozhikode, Kerala.

But, for the Muslim Times, most readers will not know that the Arabic science had prefigured Darwin and Newton.

Muslims now form almost 10% of the European population.

But, for the Muslim Times, most readers will not know that the Louvre museum in France became the most visited museum  last year, by adding a wing on Islam.
But, for the Muslim Times, most readers will not know that a township in Sweden has allowed announcement of Azan, call to prayer, on loud speakers.

The Muslim Times loves India as it is the largest democracy and a great secular country, where people of different religions live in peace and mutual harmony.

India is the largest democracy in the world and democratic values can work effectively only if the voters are well informed and the Muslim Times intends to inform its readers well, without any hidden agenda.  President Thomas Jefferson, one of the Founding Fathers of USA, once famously said, "Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day."

Indian parliament, Delhi

Yours sincerely,

The Muslim Times' Correspondent for India
