This is one of Allaah's signs - i.e. the proofs that indicate His Ability and Mercy, and His right to be worshipped alone without any partners. Allaah has fashioned human society to consist of men and women, as He says:

"O mankind, indeed We created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily, the most noble amongst you in the sight of Allaah is the one with the most Taqwaa (fear and dutifulness to Allaah)." [Surah Al-Hujuraat: 13]

[Sharh Riyaadh al-Saaliheen (3/355) of Shaikh al-`Uthaymeen رحمه الله]

The Shaikh رحمه الله said:

الدنيا(Al-Dunya - the World): is this life which we are living in. It was named Dunyaa because of two reasons:

The First: It is أدنى (Adnaa - nearer/closer) than الآخرة (al-Aakhirah - the Hereafter), because it came BEFORE the Hereafter as Allaah تعالى said:

{وللآخرة خير لك من الأولى}
{And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world).} [Surah al-Dhuhaa (93): 4]

The Second: It is دنيئة (Danee'ah - ignoble/inferior), it is nothing in comparison to the Hereafter. As Imaam Ahmad has reported:

لموضع سوط أحدكم في الجنة خير من الدنيا وما فيها

"A place in Paradise (as small) as that occupied by the whip of one of you is better than the world and whatever is in it." [Musnad of Imaam Ahmad (22290) and Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (2892, 3250, 6415) on the authority of Sahl ibn Sa`d رضي الله عنه]

The place, the size of a short and small stick (whip), in Paradise is better than world and whatever is in it, from its beginning to its end.

سفید فام لڑکی کا جادو قرآن کے سامنے بےبس

قرآن کریم کی ہیبت کا ایک واقعہ ہمارے ایک دوست جو کہ بینک آفیسر ہیں ان کے عزیز کو حال ہی میں پیش آیا ہے جو انگلینڈ میں بینکنگ کی ٹریننگ مکمل کرکے آئے ہیں اور حال ہی میں انہوں نے ملنے والے سب دوستوں کو سنایا۔ بینک آفیسر کے عزیز کا قیام لندن کے ایک ہاسٹل میں تھا جہاں ہر مذہب کے لوگ بشمول مرد و عورت قیام پذیر تھے۔ یہ نوجوان دین سے محبت رکھتا تھا' نماز کی پابندی کرتا اور جب ٹریننگ سے فارغ ہوکر ہاسٹل جاتا تو اپنے کمرے میں اکیلا بہت ہلکی آواز میں تلاوت کلام پاک سنتا تھا۔ تلاوت کی آواز اتنی ہلکی ہوتی کہ اس کے کمرے کے دروازے سے باہر نہ سنائی دیتی۔ کیونکہ ان ممالک میں اس چیز کا بہت خیال کیا جاتا ہے کہ پڑوسی کو کوئی شکایت نہ ہو۔
اس ہاسٹل میں ایک سفید فام لڑکی ان کے کمرے سے دور رہتی تھی۔ ایک شام جب یہ نوجوان ہلکی آواز میں تلاوت سننے میں مشغول تھا تو کسی نے اس کے کمرے کے دروازے پر دستک دی۔ جب دروازہ کھولا گیا تو وہ سفید فام لڑکی سامنے کھڑی تھی اس نے شکایت کی کہ آپ میوزک نہ لگائیں (تلاوت کلام پاک کو وہ میوزک سمجھتی تھی) کیونکہ میں اس میوزک کے دوران اپنی عبادت نہیں کرسکتی۔ اس نوجوان نے اسی وقت کمرے سے باہر نکل کر سنا تو تلاوت باہر سنائی نہیں دیتی تھی تو اس سفید فام لڑکی کو بتایا گیا کہ آپ کا کمرہ تو یہاں سے دوسری لائن میں کافی دور ہے اور اس تلاوت کی آواز تو میرے کمرے کے باہر کے دروازے تک نہیں سنائی دیتی۔ مگر وہ سفید فام لڑکی بار بار اس تلاوت کو بند کرنے کا کہتی ہوئی چلی گئی۔
ایک دن اس نوجوان نے اس ہاسٹل کے تمام مسلمانوں کو اکٹھا کیا اور کمرے کے اندر اور باہر کا دروازہ بند کرکے دنیا کے بہترین قاری کی تلاوت سنائی۔ یہ پروگرام جاری تھا کہ باہر دروازے پر کسی نے دستک دی جب دروازہ کھولا گیا تو وہ سفید فام لڑکی غصے سے کہہ رہی تھی کہ آپ میری عبادت میں خلل ڈال رہے ہیں کیونکہ آپ پھر وہی میوزک چلا رہے ہیں۔ ان تمام مسلمانوں نے اس کو سمجھایا کہ یہ تو اللہ تعالیٰ کا کلام ہے میوزک نہیں ہے۔ وہ بار بار کہہ رہی تھی کہ یہ میوزک مجھے عبادت نہیں کرنے دیتا۔ ان ساتھیوں میں سے ایک نے تنگ آکر پوچھا کہ آپ کس کی عبادت کرتی ہیں؟ اس لڑکی نے فوراً کہا شیطان کی۔ یہ جواب سن کر سب پریشان ہوگئے اور اس لڑکی سے درخواست کی کہ ہمیں بھی اپنی عبادت دکھاؤ۔ وہ لڑکی بڑی خوشی سے اپنے کمرے کے اندر لے گئی جہاں انسانی ہڈیوں کا ڈھانچہ لٹک رہا تھا اس کے علاوہ اور بھی ہڈیاں پاس پڑی ہوئی تھیں اور یہ لڑکی ان پر جادو کرتی تھی۔ اب یہ بات سب پر ظاہر ہوگئی کہ تلاوت کلام کی ہیبت سے یہ جادو نہیں چل سکتا۔ اس لڑکی نے ان تمام کو بتایا کہ یہ پاکستانی جو اپنے اللہ کی کتاب سنتا ہے اس کا پورا پتہ میں نے اپنے علم کے ذریعے حاصل کرلیا ہے۔ اس کے باپ اور ماں کا نام بتایا اور بتایا کہ یہ دونوں کہاں پر موجود ہیں اور کیا کررہے ہیں؟ ان اطلاعات نے مسلمانوں پر کچھ اثر نہ کیا بلکہ اس نوجوان نے تلاوت سننا اور زیادہ کردیا۔ وہ لڑکی ایک دن تنگ آکر ہوسٹل چھوڑ گئی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے کلام کی برکت سے اس نوجوان کو جادو کے اثرات سے محفوظ رکھا اور ثابت کردیا کہ جہاں یہ کلام ہوگا وہاں دوسرے کلام باطل ہوجاتے ہیں۔
