We are seeing here that some students are worried about video lectures. We are providing online VU Lectures of all subjects on our network www.virtualians.pk . You can watch video lectures of any vu course here. http://virtualians.pk/page/video-lectures . But you need to do some steps.

Step # 1. Open software provided by www.virtualians.pk (find the attachment)simply installs it.

Step # 2. During Installation close Firefox.

Step # 3. After installing open Firefox web browser. You can use any version of Firefox.

Type www.virtualians.pk

Step # 4. Click on tools

Step # 5. Click on anonymox and refresh IP-Adress

Step # 6. Click on Standard bottom of web browser

Step # 7. Select Country as US

Step # 8. Select service as anonymox and also change the ip adress

Step # 9. Now click on video lectures tab on top of virtualians and select any subject code

Step # 10. Select a video lecture

Step # 11. click play and watch video lectures

vu experts - update status

Dear vu expert,

i have freezed my semester after completion of 3rd semester, today i unfreezed the semester and continue 4th semester. but my account status is still showing freeze. and an other issue is that i have freezed semester on March 2011, but my fee voucher showing under in which i was not present.

Kindly take action to continue my 4th semeter with new pay voucher,

VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY OF PAKISTAN

SECURITY REFUND RULES, 2011

TITLE

These Rules may be called the Virtual University of Pakistan, Security Refund Rule, 2011.

COMMENCEMENT

These Rules shall come into force from spring' 2011.

DEFINITIONS

a) "Semester" means a period of six (06) months each in an academic year.

b) "Dues" means the amount payable by the student for the semester in which the student is enrolled.

All other expressions and terms used in these rules shall have the same meanings as are assigned to them under Section 2 of the Virtual University of Pakistan Ordinance, 2002

PASS OUT CASES

Full security will be refunded to a university student who has no outstanding dues upon pass out.

For a university student who has outstanding dues:

a. Security will be refunded after adjusting the outstanding dues, if outstanding dues are less then security refundable.

b. No security will be refunded if outstanding dues are more than security refundable.

No degree/transcript will be issued without clearing the payable dues.

WITHDRAWN CASES

For a university student who has enrolled in the current semester and subsequently apply for cancellation of admission, full security will be refunded subject to:

All dues of the current semester has been paid;

No outstanding dues for the preceding enrolled semester(s). If any dues are outstanding:

i. Security will be refunded after adjusting the outstanding dues, if outstanding dues are less than security refundable;

ii. No security will be refunded if outstanding dues are more than security refundable.

For a university student who has not enrolled in the current semester and apply for cancellation of admission, full security will be refunded subject to:

All dues of the preceding enrolled semester(s) have been paid. If any dues are outstanding:

i. Security will be refunded after adjusting the outstanding dues, if outstanding dues are less than security refundable;

ii. No security will be refunded if outstanding dues are more than security refundable.

For students who enrolled before 2011, security will be refunded according to these rules but fee for the period in which a student has no academic activity will not be considered as payable fee.

No security will be refunded in any case if a student applies for cancellation of admission after two consecutive un-attended semesters from the last enrolled semester.

Partial transcript will be issued if needed once all the dues are cleared.

ACT OF INDISCIPLINE AND MISCONDUCT

Security of such students will be forfeited who have been notified for rustication and or expulsion on disciplinary grounds or production of fake documents.

::::|| VU ||:::: Important Announcement for the students About Security Refund

Published On: Tuesday, September 18, 2012

Students are informed that Security Refund Rules 2011 (http://vulms.vu.edu.pk/Notifications_Links_Files/SecurityRefundRule...) will be implemented w.e.f. October, 2012. According to the new rules (clause 10), students who have not attended/enrolled last two consecutive semesters without freezing their semester/without an intimation to the University, will be marked as 'withdrawn' in Fall 2012 semester and their security will be forfeited by the University. Once the students have been marked 'withdrawn', they have to apply for new admissions in order to continue their studies.

Hence students are advised to avail this opportunity and enroll themselves w.e.f. Fall 2012 semester so that they can retain their security refundable amount and save new admission cost.
