[Pak Youth] For Freshers: What is PMP Certificate

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate recognizes an individual's ability to lead and direct projects. With a PMP certification it is understood that an individual will be knowledgeable in industry jargon, competent in the processes of project management, and up to date in industry guidelines, processes and general news. A PMP certification is a globally-recognized credential.

Eligibility Requirements
- To obtain a PMP certificate you must have either a high school diploma, five years of project management experience and 35 hours of project management education or a bachelor's degree or equivalent, three years of project management experience and 35 hours of project management education.
Project Management Education
- The 35 hours of project management education must be obtained through an approved education provider listed on the Project Management Institute's web page.
- Application Process
- Once eligible, you must fill out an application through the Project Management Institute, take a multiple choice exam, pay a fee (around $500 American) and keep up with credential maintenance every few years.
Application Process Timeframe
- For a PMP certification, it takes most people to complete the application in entirety takes around eight hours. If you mail your application, the process will take a little longer compared to the online application. If applying online, there is an application check list which you can follow in the PMP certification handbook.
Project Management Institute Membership
- You can also become a member of the Project Management Institute. This membership does not require that you are PMP certified, but offers newsletters, networking, volunteer opportunities, seminars and project management related educational materials. Obtaining a PMI membership is a way to further educate and become involved in the project management environment. Yearly membership fees are under $200

We've always known you can press spacebar to play and pause a YouTube video, or jump to certain points with the number keys. You can also use J, K, and L, as Back, Pause, and Forward buttons.

Pressing K does the same thing as spacebar: it pauses or plays the video. However, the two keys on either side of it, J and L, act as Previous and Next buttons, respectively, just like a regular remote control. Pressing J will take you 12 seconds back in the video, and pressing L will take you 12 seconds forward. Note that Firefox users will have to turn off the "Search for Text When I Start Typing" feature under Options > Advanced > General in order for this to work. Mr. Student has recently graduated from a local business school. He joined Personnel Development Foundation (PDF) as a Junior Consultant Officer in Grade Alpha a week ago. PDF provides following professional services to its clients; employee recruitment, training & development, succession planning, and compensation & retention plans etc. At PDF, Mr. Student has been given a task to develop aptitude tests for the applicants applying for the jobs in the area of Accounting and Finance. One of the questions developed by him is as under;

Marketing expenses of Clients Services Associates (CSA) are estimated at 10% of the next year's sales. Administrative expenses for the year, excluding bad debts are 5% of sales but 8% of cost of sales. Bad debts are estimated at 2.5% of the sales. Earnings after Tax (EAT) are predicted at Rs. 29,250. Tax rate is 35%.

You are required to find out the following:

a) Develop a profit equation from the above data with values therein to find EAT.

b) Whether the above estimates are in favor of CSA or not? Justify your answer while not exceeding a limit of 25 words.
