ایوب بن محمد، معمر بن سلیمان، عبداللہ بن بشر، اعمش، عمرو بن مرہ، یحییٰ بن جزار ابن اخت زینب، عبداللہ بن زینب حضرت زینب اہلیہ حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتی ہیں کہ ایک بڑھیا ہمارے پاس آیا کرتی تھی سرخ بادہ کا دم کرتی تھی ہمارے پاس ایک تخت تھا جس کے پائے تھے جب حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اندر تشریف لاتے تو کھنکھارتے اور آواز دیتے ایک روز وہ اندر تشریف لائے میں نے انکی آواز سنی تو ان سے پردہ میں ہوگئی وہ آئے اور میرے ساتھ ہی بیٹھ گئے انہوں نے مجھے ہاتھ لگایا تو ایک تعویز ان کو محسوس ہوا فرمانے لگے یہ کیا ہے؟ میں نے کہا میرا تعویز ہے اس پر سرخ بادے سے بچاؤ کا دم کیا ہوا ہے۔ انہوں نے اسے کھینچ کر توڑا اور پھینک دیا اور فرمایا کہ عبداللہ کے گھر والے شرک سے بیزار ہوچکے ہیں میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے سنا دم تعویز اور ٹونا (حب کا گنڈا) سب شرک ہے۔ میں نے کہا کہ ایک روز میں باہر نکلی تو فلاں کی مجھ پر نظر پڑی اسکے بعد سے میری جو آنکھ اس کی طرف تھی بہنے لگی میں اس پر دم کروں تو ٹھیک ہو جاتی ہوں اور دم ترک کردوں تو پھر بہنے لگتی ہے فرمانے لگے یہ شیطان کی کا رستانی ہے جب تم اسکی نا فرمانی کرتی ہو تو وہ تمہاری آنکھ میں اپنی انگلی چبھوتا ہے البتہ اگر تم وہی عمل کرو جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے کیا تو یہ تمہارے حق میں بہتر بھی ہوگا اور تمہاری شفایابی کیلئے بہت موزوں بھی ہے تم اپنی آنکھ میں پانی کاچھینٹا ڈالو اور یہ کہو أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسْ رَبَّ النَّاسْ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَائَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُکَ شِفَائً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا۔

محمد بن علاء، ابومعاویہ، اعمش، عمر بن مرہ، یحیی بن جزار، ابن اخی زینب، عبداللہ بن زینب، عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ فرماتے ہیں میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ بیشک تعویذ، گنڈے وغیرہ سب شرک ہیں، حضرت زینب کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے ان سے کہا کہ یہ کیا تم کہتے ہو، خدا کی قسم میری آنکھ درد کی شدت سے باہر نکلنے کو تھی اور میں فلاں یہودی کے پاس جایا کرتی تھی وہ مجھے تعویذ دیتا تھا، جب اس نے مجھے تعویذ دیا تو مجھے سکون ہو گیا۔ تو حضرت عبداللہ کہنے لگے یہ تو شیطانی عمل ہے جبکہ وہ اپنے ہاتھ سے اسے دبایا کرتا تھا جب اس یہودی نے اس پر دم کیا تو وہ شیطان اس عمل سے رک گیا۔ اور بیشک تمہارے لیے یہی کافی ہے کہ تم اس طرح کہہ دیا کرو جیسے کہ رسول اللہ فرمایا کرتے تھے کہ اے اللہ تکلیف کو دور فرما اے لوگوں کے پرودگار شفا عطا فرما آپ ہی شفا دینے والے ہیں اور آپ کی شفا کے علاوہ کوئی شفا نہیں ہے ایسی شفا جو کسی بیماری کو باقی نہ چھوڑے۔
