Jab wo neend se jaage to use bata dena

 Ke saari raat tere paas jaga tha koi

 Tum ne jab neend men hathon ko us ke pakrra tha

 Us shab-e-wasl sakte men par gaya tha koi

 Jab bhi ayi koi muskaan ter chehre par

 Han phir dheere se bohut muskura diya tha koi

 Jab bhi takiya tere sar se hat jata tha

 Phir apni god men sar rakh ke sulata tha koi

 Jab teri zulf ke siyah badal tujh pe baraste the

 Apne honton se teri zulfon ko hatata tha koi

 Jab bhi too sard hawa se simmat si jati thi

 Han apni aghsoh men tujh ko chupata tha koi

 Too sari raat yun hi bekhabar soti rahi

 Sari raat tujhe chahat se sulata tha koi
