دیکھ لو خواب مگر خواب کا چرچا نہ کرو
لوگ جل جاینگے  سورج کی تمنا نہ کرو

وقت کا کیا ہے کسی پل بھی بدل سکتا ہے
ہوسکے تم سے تو مجھ پی بھروسہ نہ کرو

اجنبی لگنے لگے خود تمہیں اپنا ہی وجود
اپنے دیں رات کو اتنا بھی اکیلا نہ کرو

خواب بچوں کے کھلونے کی طرح ہوتے ہیں
خواب دیکھا نہ کرو خواب دکھایا نہ کرو

بے خیالی میں کبھی انگلیاں جل جاینگی
راکھ گزرے ہوئے لمحوں کی کردہ نہ کرو

موم کے رشتے ہیں گرمی سے پگھل جاینگے
دھوپ کے شہر میں آذر یہ تماشا نہ کرو
