Lakhs Of Bangalore Users Facebook Accounts Compromised After Global Spam
By late Wednesday about two lakh accounts of Facebook users in Bangalore, (India) have been compromised in the latest Facebook hack, said media reports. Weblinks to individual's morphed pornographic pics were posted on news feeds, which immediately went viral.

The source of the media report remained unknown and India office of the social networking giant denied mass hacking reports of users accounts in the Indian city or elsewhere. The Bangalore police cyber cell also rubbished the mass hacking reports citing no complain yet received in this matter.
However, Mumbai based daily afternoon Mid Day reported there are about fifty wall posts on the social site stating their voluntary quitting of Facebook forever after being embarrassed before their family and friends.
In recent days there were also flood of celebrities fake pics in sexual situations on users profiles.
Experts say the permission to some apps might have gone rogue. Facebook, on the other hand, says error in Java script in some browsers may have indulged hackers use the error to intrude into the social site.
Tech blogs worldwide continued reporting this hacking into the Facebook website as spam attacks. Initial report also attributed these hacks to Anonymous, the hacktivist group, as it earlier had threatened of attacking Facebook opposing privacy and other issues.
Currently Facebook has more than 800 million users across the world and holds the top position among social networking sites. Google's G+ is seen giving tough competition to it after achieving the status of fastest growing social networking site.

2. Change your passwords frequently.
3. Only download apps from sites you trust.
4. Keep you anti-virus software up-to-date.
5. Log into Facebook only once per session.
