VU Tigers beat Telenor Falcons in a friendly cricket match
VU tigers outclassed Telenor Falcons in a friendly cricket match. The match was played on December 4, 2011 at Model Town Whites Cricket ground. It was a 30 over contest. After winning the toss, Telenor bated first and scored 205 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. And in reply VU faced stubborn resistance from Telenor but manage to achieve the target with the loss of 8 wickets. Telenor: 205 for 7 VU: 208 for 8
