ABC Company is currently facing a problem of low volume of sales and inefficiency of the production department. Company is having number of managerial layers, very complicated communication system and delays in decision making. This is because mangers have to pass through ten higher-level management approvals to make a decision about an issue related to production. CEO of the company has decided to flatten the organizational structure.

What practices company can use to flat its structure and what were the drawbacks of previously used tall structure?

ABC Company aims at providing high quality products to its customers. Company provides flexible authority to its employees at each level and involves them in decision making process to enhance the quality of the product.
