Let us all start disobeying our parents from today; and stop listening to them. If you disagree; then give me a proper reason to why not. Why do they deserve respect anyways? Aren't we independent enough? Don't we have the freedom to live our life? Why respect them? It's because, you know your parents, that's why you respect them. Secondly, they nurtured you, they guided you; they helped you take ...you to the school and solved all your problems and even if you don't fully respect them or listen to them, you have to be psychologically dependent on them and grateful to them; obligated and committed to them.
So what about the Creator who made your parents? And their parents, and their parents? And the whole world? Is the one that gave you life; not worthy of praise and thanks? Is He not worthy of respect and recognition? My brothers and sisters that in a nutshell is a purpose and goal in this life. Firstly, to recognize and acknowledge the Creator, and secondly to conform to the laws of the Creator and thirdly to give praise in gratitude and worship to that Creator, that's the initial purpose of our lives.
