There was once a girl and boy who were together. They Loved each other very much and could do anything for each other. They met each other often and went to the cafe and enjoyed themselves. None of their parents knew about their relationship. Every night they talked together on the phone, every weekend they met each other.

After a while there was a period were the boy began to read a lot about his religion, Islam. And once he read how haram it was with relationship before marrige (something he never thought of before), he read how much a woman's worth was in Islam, he read how a man should treat the sisters in Islam, he read how haram it was to go out with a girl alone, usually because Shaytaan always is there as the third company.

So he told the girl (who he loved so much) that they had to split up. Not because he wanted to, but because of his deen, their deen. He wanted frist to find himself and strength his Imaan and become more religious. He knew that his life could end at any time, and because of that he wanted to change as quickly as possible, before it was too late. He told the girl about Islam and everything, he ended up the relationship in a good way, not just went out of her life.

The girl who wasn't practicing at all. She never asked him about Islam, she never thought of Islam even though she belived in Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and Muhammad peace be upon him as the last messenger. So after a while she accepeted his choice, and both went their own way. The boy had even thought of marrying her. But he thought that there was no way out for this girl since she never ever thought of changing her life style.

Several years passed and the boy had graduated and moved to another city. He started to be a real man and he was stronger in his deen. He prayed at least five prayers every day and more, he went to the mosque each week, instead of using time on foolish things, he read the Qur'an. He spend all his time with his beloved family, his religious friends and on his beautiful religion.

After a while The boy decided to get married. And an aunt from the mosque told him that she knew a very practicing Muslimah she thought would fit quite well with him. He prayed and prayed to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala for the right girl. He prayed the salat-l-istikhara, the Islamic prayer for guidance and agreed with his parents and the aunt for a meeting with this girl.

Her aunt, the parents of the girl and the girl came to the boy's house. All of them was sitting in the living room, the girl used the niqab so he could not see who she was. But they sat there and talked for a long time, and how she wanted it and how she spoke, he was just in love her from the first moment. He loved how she loved Islam and how she wore clothes that pleased Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Their fathers went out for a walk and mothers and the aunt into the kitchen to fetch some food and something to drink. They sat there, they finally had a moment alone, they talked and talked, and the boy told her that he liked how she was thinking and how she wanted her life style, it was alike as he wanted it too. The girl said the same about the boy. Even under her niqab he could see the smile in her eyes, but the boy tried to lower his gaze.

Finally after sitting there for a while and talked a lot, the boy asked if he could see her, since they made the choice to bring what they had so far to something more, marriage. The girl took off her niqab and the boy could not keep his tears away from falling down his cheeks.

There sat the girl he once loved so much, the girl he had thought of for years and even before this meeting today. How could the girl that he loved so much come back to his life, with just better life style, stronger faith. There sat the girl he had once compared to the past, which he now compared to the future, inshAllah.

They both sat there with their eyes full of tears, but sudden their parents came in to the livingroom, the girl put on her niqab fast again, and they both told their parents that they had come to a decision.

It is He who created you from a soul. From it He created its mate, so that he might reside with her... (7:189)
