Position: ColdFusion (1 lead and 2 Mid level Developers)
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
Design and implement cost effective, high quality web applications to meet customers' needs.
.Interface with customers to obtain understanding of the project requirements.
.Participate in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle.
.Develop, maintain, enhance, and support fully functioning applications that comply with client and company standards.
.Perform unit testing of all applications developed and/or enhancements to systems.
.Take ownership of assigned development projects.
.Monitor application efficiencies to identify means of enhancing performance.
.Work in collaboration with clients to troubleshoot issues and provide professional support for enterprise systems.
.Work with Quality Assurance team to ensure quality of work produced.
Technical Lead Responsibilities
.Perform the duties listed above
.Provide overall technical direction for development activities'
.Provide mentoring and technical oversight to other ColdFusion Developers
.Provide an architectural oversight and review of proposed and existing infrastructure
.Distribute workload to other ColdFusion developers and report status to Project Manager
Qualifications:
.Proficient in ColdFusion development, including the use of CFC's.
.Understanding of MVC or N-tier architecture.
.Understanding of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, XML, AJAX, and jQuery
.Solid understanding of Web infrastructure.
.Comfortable with maintenance of existing code base as well as new development.
.Well organized with proven success in managing assignments to timely completion
.Values-based personality with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
.Ability to maintain positive and healthy relationships with all project team members and customers.
.Very strong SQL development skills.
.Ability to write technical White Papers and systems design documents.
.Experience working with systems analyst to provide technical perspective on gathering requirements/business process information.
.Ability to follow existing configuration management and application development protocols.
Other Desired Skills:
.Understanding of integration concepts
.ColdFusion administration experience
.Familiarity with section 508 compliance
.Experience writing complicated SQL statements involving more than three tables and stored procedures in Oracle PL/SQL
.Experience with RequisitePro or other requirements management tool is a plus.
.Experience in Agile software development methodologies is a plus.
.Familiarity with Test-Drive Development (TDD) and the ability to write unit tests is a plus.
Education / Experience:
.Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field or relevant combination of education and experience
.5+ years current ColdFusion experience.
.5+ years current Oracle PL/SQL or MS SQL development experience.

Position: Front End Developer
Location: Chevy Chase MD
Duration: 6 Months
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Front End Engineer to join the development team. In this capacity, you will write standards-compliant xhtml, css, and unobtrusive JavaScript to build world class web applications. You will work with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create enhanced user experiences through your expertise in front end development.
Responsibilities:
. Front End development
. Build standards-compliant cross-browser/platform compatible web pages integrating with JSP, JSTL, PHP and others.
. Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers and usability engineers to refine the user experience
Required Skills:
. 5+ years of experience in general web application development, with 3+ years with front-end development
. JavaScript (including DOM, object-oriented JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, events, callbacks) and well-demonstrated XHTML/CSS
. Intermediate or higher knowledge of jQuery or similar JavaScript frameworks (YUI, Dojo, etc)
. Experience integrating front-end code with JSP, JSTL or related language
. Experienced with version control (SVN preferred)
. Solid understanding of web/usability/accessibility standards
. Excellent troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills (bonus if you have these):
. JSP and/or PHP coding experience
. Experience with high performance web page optimization techniques.
. Knowledge of web application lifecycle, MVC and other design patterns
