Sr. .NET Developer
DURATION: 12 + MONTHS
Interview: Phone followed by F2F or direct F2F
One of our clients is looking for a Sr. .Net Developer. The details are as follows:
FOR 7 HRS A DAY
Gather requirements from end users, management and other stakeholders. Create design solutions including data modeling, object modeling, and propose screen designs.
Manage the development of projects including creation of project plans.
Architect software solutions using Object Oriented design patterns and best practices in solution architecture and design.
Web development using Microsoft Content Management Server.
Implement relational database solutions using SQL Server 2005 and T-SQL.
Code Stored Procedures and triggers and create DTS packages.
Develop N-Tier web applications using design pattern based on ASP.NET web form technology.
Design .NET User and Custom controls integrated with web form (code behind) for UI Presentation.
Work with graphic designers and use advanced Cascading Style Sheets.
Implement Data access layer using ADO .NET.
Use version control and configuration management systems such as Visual SourceSafe.
Conduct performance and load tests on applications and identify ways to improve code.
Conduct functional testing.
Develop User training documentation and conduct training.
Demonstrate strong problem solving & analytical skills
Expected to work both independently and as part of a team
These activities will encompass all project life cycle phases that may include production support (24/7) and documentation of all tasks in accordance with Department of Education standards.
The minimum core competencies required of each consultant are:
§ BS (or equivalent formal training).
§ Eight or more years of technical experience (Required)
§ Extensive data modeling (Desired)
§ Experience in database design (Desired)
§ Object oriented design and programming (Required)
§ Experience writing stored procedures that interface with SQL Server 2005 (Required)
§ Five or more years of experience designing and developing Web applications using VISUAL STUDIO.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, HTML, C#.NET Internet Security (Required)
§ System Analysis Skills (Desired)
§ Good writing and verbal communication skills (Required)
§ Experience in Agile development (Desired)
§ Experience in writing technical documentation (Desired)
§ Internet/Intranet Application Services
Microsoft Content Management Server experience (Desired)
