India Shaken from Kashmir to Kanyakumari

As a good man or a women what d'you suggest as punishment for rapists? Hanged until death? Beheading? Stoned to death? @ http://www.themuslimtimes.org/2012/12/countries/india/india-shaken-from-kashmir-to-kanyakumari

...the angry protesters are demanding justice for the 23-year-old paramedical student, who was stripped, beat, raped, and tortured by a gang of six men in a moving bus in Delhi on Sunday night before throwing them off the bus.

It appears to be that a rod was inserted into her and it was pulled out with so much force that the act brought out her intestines along. The girl had bite marks on her body and has suffered severe injuries on her head and face as she was brutally attacked using an iron rod.

"There was permanent damage to her intestines, and with the intestines completely gone she will have to feed through intravenous fluids all her life. But that is secondary, our primary focus at the moment is to save her life," said Dr BD Athani, Medical Superintendent, Safdarjung Hospital. The girl remains on ventilatory support.

'Save me, I want to live', says the Delhi gang rape victim

Rarely, if ever, have so many people taken to the streets in so many different places for a single cause. It was an unstoppable momentum.

Newsrooms, television networks, newspapers, the people – they're reeling from this horrific incident...  Parliamentarians, the prime minister, politicians, the police… everybody had something to say.

Some demanding capital punishment to the perpetrators of the heinous crime;
Some want the culprits to be stoned publicly;
Some want them beaten to death;
Some want them hanged in public;
Some demand to treat these criminals with a third degree torcher
Some chanting slogans against government's apathy;
Some protesting against Delhi police laxity...

Doctors at the Safdarjung hospital performed an elective abdominal surgery --gastronomy and duodenustromy -- and surgeons had to remove her gangrenous small intestine. They said she has lost most of here intestine. Her abdomen has been cleaned and it has been closed today. Because most of the intestine, almost all portion, I would say, because of the initial loss and subsequent gangrene is not existent.
