Position:Backup Professional (Netbackup)

Duration: 6 Months Plus

Location:Cleveland,OH or Secaucus,NJ

Job description:

Ø  Extensive project implementation work  experience in Netbackup 6.x , 7.x servers

Ø  Capable of Handling Media Management tasks and NBU Monitoring + Operational tasks

Ø  Working knowledge on Symantec Backup Exec

Ø  Good Knowledge & experience of Virtual Tape Library, Quantum Tape Libraries, Storage Life Cycle Policy(SLP)

Ø  Performance management of Netbackup environment

Ø  Work experience on Enterprise tape libraries

Ø  Rich understanding & troubleshooting backup issues by analyzing Netbackup logs

Ø  Very good working knowledge with Vault, Import, Duplication, Restores

Ø  Extensive working knowledge on Disk Pools, De-duplication

Ø  Good knowledge about various Operating Systems like Unix, Windows along with scripting at OS level Good understanding of advantages and disadvantages of various NBU features

Ø  Good understanding of tape drives Zoning

Ø  Backup Infra platform migration from backup exec to netback up is preferred

Ø  Data migration experience

Ø  Very good knowledge of Netbackup commands and OS level commands

Ø  Knowledge & clear understanding of Netbackup Reporting features
