Location:Atlanta GA
Duration:12 Months+

Required Skills:

10 + years Experience Java/J2EE and related tools

2+ years Experience Adobe AIR 3.x, Flex 3.x

2+ years Experience with Spring framework, including Spring MVC

2+ years Experience with Groovy / Grails

3+ years Experience ActionScript (thru version 3.0)

2+ years Experience Web 2.0 Technologies (HTML5/JQuery/JS Frameworks/ Libraries/JSON/AJAX/CSS) on desktop and tablets

2+ years Experience building web applications in a Service-Oriented Architecture.

 

Preferred Skills:

Adobe Flex / AIR certification

Java Certification

Experience in transitioning an existing Flex application to HTML5/CSS3

Experience with Parsley Flex/Flash framework

In-depth understanding and experience with Web2.0 technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JS Libraries/JSON/AJAX)

Telecommunications industry/wireless domain experience

 

 

 

Role Description:

This role may be required to contribute towards both feature development and Migration / Technology Transition initiatives of Front End Enterprise systems.

The right candidate shall be a proven hands-on developer and mentor with ability to define solution architecture, best practices and standards for large enterprise programs. Roles shall include delivering or contributing to: Proof of Concepts (POCs), High Level Solution Design (HLSD), Low Level Solution Design (LLSD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), researching creative solutions for high visibility enterprise systems. The role shall be specifically be tasked with researching, architecting and implementing the transition of large front end applications from current Adobe Flex, LCES/DS, Java/J2EE stack to Web 2.0 (HTML5/JQuery/JS framework) and Java/J2EE.

As part of a feature development team the role requires participation in all team meetings, acting as a lead developer for the designated team(s), contribution to design and code development and setting examples in the group by consistent delivery, reviews and mentorship.

Ability to resolve or escalate issues, communicate per the agreed communications plan, ensure that software meets agreed quality criteria and act as a liaison to other technical resources and teams.
