Job Title:  Jr. Mobile Developer

Location:  Cincinnati, OH

Duration:  6 Months to hire

Rate:  45/HR CTC

 

Position Summary:

The Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting software components in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.  The Developer participates in the application technical design process and completes estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.  The Developer also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards.  The Developer strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and practices. Current tools and technologies include:

Android:

-          Java, Android SDK and tools, JUnit, SQL, Eclipse, Ant, iOS:

All mobile web developers should be familiar with HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, CSS, CSS3, JMS, UML and have some SQL development experience with SQLServer, Informix and/or DB2

 

Essential Job Functions:

             Participate in the application technical design process.

             Develop programming specifications.  Design, code and unit test application code using SDLC best practices.

             Complete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks.

             Create technical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout all phases of the SDLC.

             Communicate timely status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure that assignment releases are managed appropriately and that completed assignments are of the highest quality.

             Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies.  Provide support for applications, including involvement with the Support Center, NOC, Infrastructure teams, and vendors as appropriate.  Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required.

             Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

 

Minimum Position Qualifications: 

             3-5  years' experience in systems analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies.

             Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization

             Ability to interact well in a team environment.

             Passing score on a selected entry test for new hires.  (Test selected based on project requirements.)

 

Desired Previous Job Experience:

             Bachelor's degree in IS or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position.

Position Summary

 

The Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting software components in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.  The Developer has overall responsibility in the technical design process.  Leads and participates in the application technical design process and completes estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.  The Developer also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest

quality and in accordance to standards.  The Developer strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and practices.

Rate: 60-65

 

Position Description:

The Developer will be involved in the technical design process and completes estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.  The Developer also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards.  The Developer strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and practices. Job Title:  GTIN Administrative- Excel Coordinator

Position Description:

Assists the Accelerated GTIN Conversion Project team in successfully converting vendors UPC's to GTIN's.  This position will require writing and maintaining Excel macros for converting files to and from several formats, formatting spread sheets, item file validation and maintaining GTIN vendor tracking spreadsheet.  This position will also require communicating with vendors and GTIN team members.  This role will work hand-in-hand with various members of the GTIN/PID team to prep for files conversion.  

 

Essential Job Functions:

o             Responsible for creating and maintaining Excel Macros to perform the following:

             Receiving PRN file via email daily

             Parse into individual vendor Item Files

o             Format Item Files in Excel to the correct layout

o             Lock down specific fields in spreadsheet prior to sending to vendors

o             GTIN check digit validation

o             Error checking of Item Files returned from vendors

o             Converting completed Item files from Excel to PRN for processing

o             GTIN Conversion Tracker

 

             Managing spreadsheets and data in Microsoft Excel

             Daily communication with vendors and other GTIN team members via email and telephone.  Track the number of days between communications with vendor and follow-up accordingly
