Description:
Job Description: The position is for a Senir C#.Net(Strong OOD Concepts) Consultant with Build Skills(Optional). The candidate must have solid Programming experience in C# on .NET platforms. Experience in Software Configuration Management practices is a plus. The candidate is expected to support with the team the daily activities which include: software build and deployments to pre-prod and production environments, implementation of SCM practices, maintaining software release branches through branching and merging, and design and implement improvements to our processes.
Strong consideration will be given to candidates who have strong exposure to C# and .Net technologies. Experience in the following such as C# development experience, build automation (Cruise Control, Team City, AntHill Pro, Hudson), Source Control (TFS, Dimensions, VSS), Issue Tracking (Serena Business Manager), and deployment automation (BMC BladeLogic) is preferred.
• 8 years of development using C#, .Net & ASP.Net
Optional:
• Experience in implementing Software Configuration Management and Build/Release best practices and procedures
• Strong programming and scripting prowess.
• Expertise in Continuous Integration and toolsets (ie. Team City, Ant Hill Pro)
• Considerable Knowledge of programming practices such as Waterfall/Agile/XP/Scrum
