Position  : Application Support- Program Lead
Location : Oak Brook,IL
Duration : 18 + Months

Exp: 8-10 years

The candidate will manage all global development activities for our
Modern Ordering and Fulfillment Applications, such as Mobile
Ordering and McDonald's Delivery System (MDS2). Global activities
include Release Strategy, Incident/Defect Management,
Requirements and Change Management, ensuring a solid test
strategy for the products, coordination of global governance groups,
support assistance, managing software suppliers, and assisting AOW
and markets with deployment.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering on
solutions, project planning, organization skills, and communication
expertise complimented by a strong technology background. Prior
experience with non-traditional ordering and payment is a plus:

Responsibilities include:

● Creation of Release Strategy, Release Plan, Project Plan, and Risk
Mitigation Strategies for software applications.
● May facilitate regular meetings for the discussion and coordination
of activities with internal business & IT partners and suppliers.
● Regular communications with cross-functional, virtual team
including members of IT Restaurants, Restaurant Solutions Group,
AOW and market partners, third party development suppliers.
● Maintain master list of features for various software releases.
● Create customized reports based on data provided by various
teams via emails, phone calls, meetings and updates within Change
Management system.
● Report on detailed information regarding the state of the features for
his/her products.
● Define and monitor the support process, facilitate the resolution of
support issues, and when necessary, actively participate in the
resolution of software defects/issues.
● Ensure all appropriate technical and user documentation is created,
distributed, and maintained.
● Lead the team to provide business analysis support for complex
software applications, including analyzing and documenting business
processes and translating user requirements to software development
teams.
● Identify requirements for testing, develops test plans and scripts and
coordinates test transmissions, as required. Also tests software as
needed.
● Consulting on the design of new functionality.
● Plan and assist with the execution of testing to ensure implemented
technology meets business requirements. Identifies requirements for
testing, develops test plans and scripts and coordinates test
transmissions, as required. Also tests software as needed.
● Facilitate appropriate training documentation and training

λ Experience Required (years & overall competencies):
• 3+ years Project Manager experience

• General knowledge of Windows-based POS systems
• Experience executing projects in the Software Development Lifecycle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships
• Experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building
systems solutions, and deployment of business requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and sometimes
ambiguous environment
• Detail oriented
• Good organizational skills; able to assemble and present information
clearly
• Balance multiple priorities successfully
• Customer service focused

Experience Preferred:
• 10+ years professional work experience
• Strong project management experience
• Experience with non-traditional ordering and payments systems
(such as Mobile or web-based)
• Knowledge of McDonald's POS, ISP, and cashless systems
• McDonald's business experience/restaurant experience
• Help desk experience
• Experience with requirements management or change management
systems

Required Technology Skills:
• Ability to understand, configure, and manage complex technology
solutions
• General understanding of Windows, Word, Excel
• General understanding of data flows
• Troubleshooting ability

Preferred Technology Skills:
• Experience with Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Experience with Change Management and Defect Tracking
• Familiarity and knowledge of modern development tools

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or
related field
