Position : Sr Sharepoint Admin
Location : Boston MA
Duration : 6+Months
Skills:
- Installation & Configuration of SharePoint FARMS in various environments
- Debugging and Fixing Issues related to SharePoint Configurations
- Managing and checking the overall server health
- Monitoring SharePoint disk space usage for each site collection
- Due diligence around new SharePoint platform features d
- Define/evaluate upgrade/migrate path & business benefits for product upgrades/migrations Review Architecture/Design created by project teams to ensure integrity of platforms and alignment with platform strategy
- Work with internal business team to get support/agreement on use of new/upgraded components
- Analyzing and reporting upon SharePoint usage and activity. Managing SharePoint permissions
- Supporting network load balancing needs
- Regular review of the events and messages reported in Event Viewer and Performance Monitor
- Regular review, clean up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites will be done: This portion of the role will work closely with an Active Directory administrator if they are separated
- Regularly analyzing SharePoint content/storage and monitoring SharePoint trends (e.g. site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth)
- Setting up alerts and enforcing policies and Regularly auditing SharePoint environment
- Identifying and reporting governance violations
- Maintaining technical specifications and diagrams for the SharePoint Platform
- Installation & Configuration of SharePoint Solution Package
- Execution of PowerShell Scripts related to deployment activities
- Managing & Execution of Deployment Artifacts
