POSITION: Unix/Linux Admin
LOCATION: Portland, OR
DURATION: 6 +Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will have more than 5 years of the experience in the IT support for SW development and have the following skills:
· Advanced knowledge of UNIX system administration on Linux and one or more platforms (AIX, HPUX, Solaris)
· Knowledge of Linux systems administration
· Knowledge of Web server software tools such as Apache Tomcat*, Java J2EE*, Microsoft IIS*,
· Knowledge of MS Windows Server* systems administration
· MS SQL Server* administration
· Demonstrated programming experience in UNIX shell, Perl and Visual Basic
· Clearly demonstrated technical documentation skills (requirements, test plans, procedures)
· Clearly demonstrated communication skills
· Working knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure (TCP/IP, client/server architectures)
· Working knowledge of server virtualization
· Unix/Linux Admin having expertise on web servers like Tomcat, Apache and experience on java.
In addition to the above, have 3 or more of the following:
· Experience as an active user or administrator of any of the SW design tools above
· Programming experience in Python
· Operational knowledge of Intel manageability and monitoring architectures and tools
· Experience with Agile methodology and tools
· Operational knowledge of MS SQ Server Integration Services* or/and MS SQL Reporting Services
