Position:Sharepoint Admin/developer
Location: NYC
Duration: Long term
 
 
Skills required:
  • IIS 7.0/6.0 : Knowledge of IIS 6.0 or 7.0, Installation, configuration, App Pools, SSL, managing web farms and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience leveraging Microsoft SharePoint Server product and platform (Versions 2010 and 2007) and Windows SharePoint Services in the analysis, administration, development, implementation, and support of large, complex, enterprise-level solutions.
  • Experience with MS InfoPath Form Automation Development and SharePoint Reporting solutions
  • 2-5 yrs. Experience with SharePoint Implementations as a developer and/or administrator.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency.
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
  • SQL Server 2005/2008 : SQL Server administration and troubleshooting knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of IT development experience, mostly in ASP.NET C# and SQL Server, Web Services and multi-tier distributed systems
  • Strong OOD/OOP skills and experience applying modern design patterns preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in solving problems and responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction. 
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting and managing servers in production, pre-production and integration environments
  • Providing application support for business critical applications, troubleshooting and resolving application issues
  • Working with engineering team to troubleshoot complex application issues, participate in planning & deploying new application releases
  • Providing daily administration, support and deployments of applications within the SharePoint and .NET development environment.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure best practices, standards, and security implementation strategies are followed.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to design, code, test, document, and implement customized SharePoint solutions.
  • Serve as SharePoint SME  and mentor site administrators and contributors to create their sites and configure their content.
  • Architecting, implementing and maintaining enterprise SharePoint environment.
