ہر کسی کو دنیا میں شہرتیں نہیں ملتیں
زندگی کے لمحوں کی قیمتیں نہیں ملتیں

فتح کی خواہش میں اعمال بھی تو لازم ہیں
صرف کچھ ارادوں سے منزلیں نہیں ملتیں

فیصلے یہ چاہت کے آسماں پہ ہوتے ہیں
دو دلوں کے ملنے سے قسمتیں نہیں ملتیں

دین اور دنیا کو ساتھ رکھنا پڑتا ہے
مسجدوں میں رہنے سے جنتیں نہیں ملتیں
